“Nora Naughton” was originally published at The Chamber Magazine in July 2023 (I posted a little about Nora’s long road to publication then), but I noticed shortly after Nora’s arrival the magazine updated less frequently, and by early 2024, it only appeared as a WordPress private site with no access to poor Nora Naughton!
Since then I’ve discovered and fallen in love with Fiction on the Web, who previously published my story “The Weird Family” this past June, so when I noticed FOTW accepted reprints I sent Nora back out, really hoping that she’d find another spot to be read–and she did! Not only that, I was further honored by FOTW tagging “Nora Naughton” as a “Pick of the Month.”
