My story “The Weird Family” appears in Fiction on the Web, June 3, 2024:
Another long one (about 20 pages printed) over at Fiction on the Web, “the longest-running short stories website on the Internet” (est. July 1996). This site boasts an active comments section and publishes a variety of fiction (funny stories, creepy stories, fantastic stories, futuristic stories, criminal stories, and real-life stories) six days per week. My “Weirds” story falls under the real-life story umbrella (confession: I was shooting for funny when I submitted), though it’s a bit out there. Set in the late ’80s, featuring high school age boys, I’ll give you fair warning about some rough language.
